First draw a central line (vein) in the middle of the wing to be embroidered with a water-soluble pen, then start with a “three-dots” stitch, with the first stitch coming out at the tip of the wing.

Embroider a stitch of around 3 mm long along the drawn central line as an intermediate stitch.

The needle comes out from the left side of the tip of the wing.

Then, the needle goes into the fabric from the right side of the end of the intermediate stitch. The next stitch comes out of the right side of the tip of the intermediate stitch, and goes in on the left side of the end of the intermediate stitch.
